Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Upper School Mathematics teacher who is passionate, engaging and motivated to teach our eager learners. Candidates should be compelling educational practitioners who have a strong mathematics background and are confident in their capacity to create and deliver a dynamic and engaging curriculum and find joy working with young adolescents.
Focus and Responsibilities
- Prepare engaging and differentiated lesson plans according to our upper school curriculum, as a part of our International Baccalaureate program
- Develop, enhance and document curriculum, while ensuring continued coordination and collaboration with colleagues from the math department
- Regularly assess the students’ progress
- Participate fully in the professional community and contribute to school life
- Serve as an Advisor
- As needed, participate in school’s outdoor education and global travel trips and engage in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with Middle or High School students
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field, Master’s degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills with both students and parents
- Positive history of collegiality and collaboration with other teachers and administrators

Salary range for this position $66,404 - $110,975 depending on experience and qualifications.
